The Basics

Chapter 2 Lessons

Making changes to your website

Web design is an art that requires a delicate balance between space and content. The white space, akin to the walls of a room, is just as crucial as the furniture within. It’s not merely an empty area but a powerful design tool that can significantly enhance user experience and website aesthetics.

Envisioning your website as a carefully curated room may help put things into perspective. Every piece of furniture serves a purpose; the same goes for each element on your webpage. However, remember that not every space needs to be filled – white space is vital for balance and clarity.
